Keyboard Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts help you navigate the Fyncall Inbox, compose messages, and manage conversations without reaching for the mouse. Once you build the muscle memory, you can handle conversations significantly faster.

tip

Throughout this page, shortcuts are shown as Cmd for Mac and Ctrl for Windows and Linux. If you are on a Mac, use Cmd. If you are on Windows or Linux, use Ctrl instead.

Global Shortcuts

These shortcuts work from anywhere in the Fyncall Inbox.

Open notificationsCtrl + Shift + NCmd + Shift + N
Go to InboxG then IG then I
Go to SettingsG then SG then S
Go to TicketsG then TG then T
info

Command search (Ctrl + K / Cmd + K) is the fastest way to find anything in Fyncall. Type a customer name, conversation keyword, agent name, or action to jump straight to it.

Move between conversations and panels without leaving the keyboard.

tip

Use the number keys 1, 2, and 3 to jump between panels, then arrow keys to navigate within each panel. This lets you browse conversations and customer details entirely from the keyboard.

By default, pressing Enter sends your message immediately. Use Shift + Enter when you need to add a line break without sending. You can also use Ctrl/Cmd + Enter as an alternative send shortcut if you prefer a two-key send action.

Slash Commands

Type / in the message input to open the slash command menu. Slash commands give you quick access to canned responses, templates, and actions without leaving the composer.

CommandWhat It Does
/Open the slash command menu
Type after /Search available commands and quick replies by name
EnterSelect the highlighted command
Up Arrow / Down ArrowNavigate through the command list
EscClose the slash command menu

Tips for Building Shortcut Habits

  1. Start with three shortcuts -- Learn Ctrl/Cmd + K (command search), Enter (send), and / (slash commands). These three alone will save you significant time.
  2. Use the help overlay -- Press ? at any time to see all available shortcuts without leaving the page.
  3. Hover over buttons -- Most buttons in the Inbox show their keyboard shortcut in a tooltip when you hover over them.
  4. Practice one new shortcut per day -- Pick a shortcut you do not know, use it intentionally for a full day, and it will become second nature.
  5. Use panel focus keys -- Pressing 1, 2, 3 to jump between panels is one of the biggest time-savers once it becomes habit.
